Hi Jacob. I wonder if you could help me understand the cloud - TopicsExpress

Hi Jacob. I wonder if you could help me understand the cloud formation today 9th June 2014. As you can see from my video, there is an overall cloud cover that resembles more of a mist. It is quite high, approximately 2500 meters, so it is not a ground mist. Usually this sort of high mist would occur during a temperature inversion but there is not one today. We all know that clouds form in white fluffy bits as water vapour tends to clump together and does not spread evenly in accordance with the rule of dispersion. This cloud formation is not aligning with the fact that water is a liquid crystal and as such, when it is in vapour form in the atmosphere, tends to arrange itself in clumps. Like clouds. Is there something about the content of the water in the atmosphere that is not allowing it to take on its natural properties? This is the cloud cover that comes around after the planes have left permanent trails in the sky. Do you think that there could be a connection between these 2 events?
