Hi. Jim Robb here, reporting from McAllen, Texas, on the U.S.-Mexico border. Im here at ground zero to see for myself whats coming at America now, and whats about to come. First, let me update you about more shocking deception in Washington. Then Ill give you my report from the border. In Washington: President Obama is trying to convince Congress to spend $3.7 Billion for emergency funding for the crisis of unaccompanied minors crossing the border by the tens of thousands. But the spending wont stop the crisis: It came out this week that only 1% of that money would be spent this fiscal year. And that would be used ONLY to settle illegal aliens into your communities. In fact, the whole crisis is manufactured. Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson admits that these persons are paying smugglers to the United States. And most of them have family -- many also illegal -- who are already here. And they can be deported, since laws protecting unaccompanied minors dont apply. America is being fed a story line that most of the Surgers are unaccompanied children fleeing violence. The truth is that most of the Surgers are coming to the U.S. because word has gone out that the Obama Administration will allow them to stay if they can only get here. And everything the Administration does encourages that belief: refusing to deport illegal aliens...pushing for a blanket amnesty....relocating Surgers into communities across the country. Some congressmen would help President Obama do this. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) are sponsoring a bill that would weaken current immigration law and help certain illegal aliens -- even some already ordered removed -- to stay in the country. This must be stopped. We must also block the phony emergency spending proposal. And we will stop both of them if you help right now.
