Hi Julie & Robert, We have returned back from the Philippines on Wednesday and we had an amazing time! I still can’t believe how lucky I was to win your competition and had to pinch myself when I was there just to make sure it was real. I would like to thank you both so much for giving me this opportunity and for your assistance in organising my trip which I hope to now be able to share my experiences with my clients. Just some feedback that you may find helpful: Edgar was fantastic on our city tour and was very knowledgeable and accommodating, thank you so much for also adding on the walking tour of Binondo we thoroughly enjoyed it especially our lunch at Dong Bei dumplings what an amazing little hidden gem. We also thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and evening at A Venue recommended by Edgar, we had the most amazing pork! St Giles hotel was in a great location and we enjoyed walking around this area however I am so glad we had done the city tour as this really showed us just how big Manila really is and we were able to experience and see all the sights that we may have missed if we were to do it on our own. We absolutely loved our stay at the Red Coconut and cannot recommend this resort enough, it was very sad to leave I felt like I was leaving family behind all the staff were so friendly and would go above and beyond. We also booked all our day tours including Ariels Point, private island hopping and ATV riding all through the resort and they were fantastic and all tours and transfers run like clockwork. Unfortunately it rained quite heavily on our last day and our flight back to Manila was cancelled thankfully we were still at the resort so the staff could advise us that we now had to depart from Kalibo airport instead of Caticlan but as we shared a transfer back to Caticlan airport we were able to ask staff if we were able to get on a different flight to save the two hour drive to Kalibo and the staff were very friendly especially one of the security guards which stayed with us the whole time and guided us through the airport until we were able to check in, this meant a very long wait in manila but I was just thankful knowing we would not miss our connecting flight. The service we experienced throughout the Philippines was probably the best service I have ever encountered and we hope to be back one day. Thanks once again and I look forward to working with you in the future, can I please also have some brochures sent out to our office?
