Hi. Last time I plug this for at least two months. I teach a class. It is about generating ideas. Teaching your brain to improvise at the keyboard. Making your free time work for you. How to pitch. I am an Emmy, Webby, and WGA award-nominated writer, whose credits include Saturday Night Live, The Eric Andre Show, Dickhouse, Cartoon Network and more. Currently, my sketches appear weekly on TVs FOX Animation Domination Hi-Def, and I perform on CWs Whose Line is It Anyway. At UCB, I perform with long-running Thursday staple, Last Day of School, twice called The Best Improv Show in Los Angeles by LA Weekly. Every month, I write and perform in award-winning sketch comedy group The Midnight Show, also at UCB. And theres Cagematch with Miles Stroth; were all-time record holders. Ive performed in The Sunday Company at The Groundlings, IOWest, Boom Chicago Amsterdam, and toured with Drew Carey. If youve taken Sketch 1 at the Miles Improv school, you can take my class. Thats the only prerequisite. Former students have pitched to my Executive Producer at FOX as a part of the class itself, and have gone on to get jobs as writers. I charge less than any other major school in town. I teach because: When I read professional comedy submissions, Im frustrated by the content. When I hear students complain that they cant come up with ideas, Im baffled. Its really easy to write; its really easy to generate. So come take my class and learn how.
