Hi Lifers, -Imagine a Life Without Racial Borders This is a great read on Race in America & how it is changing everyday!!! I come from a revolutionary background & never really interacted with others outside of my race however with my son being 11 & super smart as well as curious he continues to walk me into the future... By this I mean he is into Engineering, Lego Robotics, 3d Printing & the like so he is always involved in some sort of Young Genius program where there are children from all races, backgrounds, ages, socioeconomic statuses & the like... Therefore to be the great mom that I am & in order of being there for him I had to let go of my own personal bias so that he may have the opportunity to explore & share!!! Especially now as I have moved form the inner city of Newark, NJ to an Atlanta Suburb where DIVERSITY is king & I am LOVING IT!!! I keep explaining to him how much he has helped me develop in this area & he looks at me like I am crazy because to him having a Caucasian, Hispanic, Egyption, Indian & or Asian friend/partner is no big deal!!! He was born downloaded (like the latest app) with this love, tolerance & acceptance within him & who am I to distort his perception of reality based on my 33yrs of a somewhat tainted reality!!! Thats when I learned that we must individually let go of these ideals about race! Wow, now let me explain that further... {#SLYBLN Lesson 2 Be Learned} -What I mean is that we must rid ourselves of the things we dislike in order to create the real change we need in & among the world as clique as it sounds One Person Does Make a Difference as thats one less person with un-just HATE in their hearts!!! Remember whatever we Magnify we Manifest!!!!
