Hi Mamas, how are we all doing on this Friday evening ? I just stopped by to apologise for my radio silence here on Facebook. We had half term here in the UK last week and this week my girls have been keeping me on my toes. Libby has been dealing with high blood sugars that we have been battling to bring down. She is a little trooper and has handled the extra blood sugar testing great, me and Dave however are a little sleep deprived (and a teeny tiny a bit grumpy ??!) from the testing and monitoring that we have been having to do through the night. Well live. My older two girls are both working through choices for the next stage in their education. Hannah will celebrate her 16th Birthday next month and is working through her choices for further education when she leaves her current school next July. Abbie is working through her options for the subjects she will study for her GCSEs that she starts next September, both have had a lot of open evenings and visits to school to help us decided where they want to go and what it is they want to study. We are blessed with daughters who love being at school and who are really excited to be moving on in their education, I have to confess seeing some of the art and textile options that Hannah can study has made me quite envious, I want to go back to school ! Added to the mix is the annual dance show for 3 of our girls. Dance show rehearsals have been happening a lot of late requiring the Mum and Dad Taxi service, though I should confess me and Dave do argue in jest over who should take the girls to rehearsals as one of us has to stay outside the dance class to help out with Libby should her Type 1 become problematic, the thought of being able to spend a whole hour sitting in my car in a tiny village that has no internet or phone signal is actually quite blissful, I might even occasionally take a picnic and catch a Nanna nap whilst I wait from time to time ! Work wise, I have still been in the studio full time working away behind the scenes as it were, emails have been getting answered in the mornings first thing and so all in all things are ticking over quite nicely, just need to find the extra time to come do updates and pictures for you Mamas here now and we will be back up to speed.
