Hi, Meezer Peeps-- Ive only had Chewey for 8 months (my first Siamese cat), so I wonder if any of you have experienced this with your cats. Its important for you to know I was used to having a quiet, calm Maine Coon for years. The only vocalization we heard was his distinct little chirps. So here it comes is: When I have been out of sight for a little while in the other end of the house, etc., Chewey starts calling like hes suddenly realized hes alone and wants to know where I am. Im talking caterwauling !! So I call out to him and he comes bounding into the room like thank God youre here!😜I heard Siamese are a needy breed, but to say hes attached to me is an understatement !! Im glad my husband and I are retired and can spend lots of time with him. Oh yeah... One more quirk: when I leave to visit my daughter for a few days, he completely adopts my husband, sitting and sleeping on him. But once Im back home, he NEVER sits or sleeps on him. He is strictly MY cat. So we joke that Im the Captain and my husband is first mate. Joanne
