Hi Mira Friends, We responded to another appeal 2 nights ago when someone sent us a pic of a scrawny looking cat and we felt the urgency to take a look. We went down twice and finally found him past midnight. He, who we now named Graham, was found to be extremely thin with his bones protruding out. He was sent to the vet the next morning and he needed blood transfusion immediately as he was anemic. He was diagnosed to have a huge tumour in the abdomen area and surgery will be done today to see if the tumour can be removed. He cant eat and vomits soon after eating. For which cat/case We would also like to highlight that our team members are all volunteers and there are only 4 of us who are active in rescues. All our rescues within the neighbourhood are done either on foot or on bicycles. We would like to seek your understanding that we cannot attend to every case that is being reported to us. We hope that you can do your part too when you see a sick or injured animal by bringing it to the vet.
