Hi, Mrs.Zane Could you please keep this anoyomous. Im 21 yrs old. Just had my first child. And her father is in prison. She is 7weeks old. But mine and his relationship was very bad when we first got together. He used to hit me. And while I was pregnant he beat me because I wouldnt sleep with a girl with him. Now that he is in prison our relationship has gotten better we talk about everything we hardly argue. But Ive told him time and time again that I would stick by him due to he has 13yrs and has to do 85% which leaves him with 11yrs. But he wants me to find him girls to write him and get them to send them money and things. It really hurts to know that he still wants to mess with other girls. Ive been taking care of him since day 1. Since he has been locked up this last time I have done everything for him. Im the only one who sees him and sends him money and writes him. I really dont know what to do. I dont have a job. I live with my grandparents and they are basically taking care of me and our daughter. Please help me. I dont know which way to turn anymore. Im so stressed out and depressed. I try so hard to tell with it but I just cant take it anymore.. what should I do. MY RESPONSE: Baby Girl, please stop dealing with that man. He is violent, disrespectful and your daughter will be at least 11 years old when he gets out of jail. Instead of finding women to write him and send him money, you need to take care of your child, get some job training, establish yourself in a career, and move on with your life. He has nothing to offer you or the baby but foolishness. The good part is that he cannot show up at your house. Please make a life for yourself someplace else. Stop taking care of him and take care of you and the baby. I hope you listen to me. I love you and good luck.
