Hi! My name is J.D. and I am big boy of about 18 pounds. I am black and rust with floppy ears and a short, docked tail. I miss my happy meter! I lost my home and family cause I had trouble with the pesky kids. I want a home without kids but with active humans so we can walk and hike and play and I would love other dogs in the home too. I am good at watching out for my family and being on alert when low flying things try to get in our yard! I am about five years old, house trained, quiet when I should be and vocal when I should be and I am pretty good at knowing the difference. I have put on a couple pounds that exercise will help me take off. I like car rides with my humans and I have good energy but not that crazy off the wall stuff like when I was younger! My foster mom and my foster dad say I am a good boy! I am neutered, up to date on my shots and micro chipped so I am ready to interview potential families to adopt! I ride well in the car, I am kennel trained, I get along well with other dogs, I come when I am called, and my house manners are great.
