Hi Pilates teams! Ok this picture just popped up on fb. Sharing as it might help show how many muscles are in neck (these are only the deep ones!) and how a lot of them connect down the back and round shoulder - all way to soles of feet. Tension in neck, or not using the right muscles for the right movement causes imbalances, awkward posture, pain, headaches etc. Pilates helps reduce these things predominantly by helping you realign everything in place first, then exercising in best position and strengthening from there. So hope you all enjoy Pilates!
