We are urgently seeking a Boiler Manager for a coal fired power station project in South Africa which is for an immediate start. The role requires the successful candidate to · Oversee and be responsible for all erection activities at the site · Control man hours allowed for erection, ensure all budhgets are met or improved · Ensure high standards of safety and quality are adhered to · Assist the Construction Manager in running the site in a safe manner and within budget and on time · Day to day liaison with the client of matters of construction programme and safety · Must report all deviations from the scope of work timeously in writing to the Snr Construction Manager / Commercial Manager Candidates who wish to apply for the above role must possess: · In excess of 15 years experience in the Boiler erection field with previous experience of a similar position a distinct advantage · Extensive knowledge of the Boiler industry would be advantageous · Must have a good understanding of scheduling and a good understanding of the CMP · Methods of erection · A good all round understanding of the various erection and welding methods employed in the industry in South Africa and overseas · Have a good understanding of management requirements · Have a strong background in the construction engineering field · A recognized trade in the field Should the above be of interest can you please send me your latest resume, in MS Word format, to [email protected] along with your availability?
