Hi Skip, my little Dini (pronounced Deanie) was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma on Dec 5th. Hes lived 1 month past the 1 - 3 months theyve given him but hes just starting to slow down and coughs more bc the tumor is getting so big (he has a secondary tumor in his kidney) He just started not wanting to eat but I read that with tumors the histamine levels get elevated which can make them not want to eat - they suggested giving an anti histamine which Ive been doing and has been working but its in pill form and I have to force it down his throat bc he wont eat unless hes eaten the pill. its a catch twenty two not being able to put in something he likes so I dont have to force it down. and its really hard getting it down his tiny throat :( not to mention making me feel badly doing it. Do you have other suggestions or something holistic to try instead?
