Hi TCFP I am a st. Lucie county registered voter with a concern. I recently (10/31/2014) received my absentee ballot from the supervisor of elections office; Gertrude Walker. I filled it out immediately and mailed it off the very next day, Saturday morning 11/01/2014. I feel this is not sufficient time for the mail to be filled out and mailed back in time to be counted in this election. I read on the election.dos.state.fl.us/calendar/elecdate.shtml itself that this mail-in window should have been sept. 30th - Oct. 7th 2014. I did not receive my absentee ballot until October 31st 2014 from the elections office, I am a democrat and vote every time I can since I was 18 y/o. Is this some sort of election office mistake. Pleas e respond. Because if it doesnt get counted I also cannot vote in person unless I bring my absentee ballot with me, which I mailed out immediately. Is this a voting scam?
