Hi Zane I know you receive hundreds of emails a day. I want to thank u for inspiration. Im a single mother of five, well not really. I have three children with separate fathers and two by my current boyfriend. Things has been hard for us. I was working in my own place, own car and everything. I went on Maternity leave and could not afford my place. I know you wondering what is my boyfriend doing. But He has a felony and in Georgia thats hard to get a job. But we are at my fathers house and it is very overwhelming especially since my job let me go at the end of my leave. I got back in school until I can find a job. But I need your help. My boyfriend has being trying hard to work and refuse to do illegal activities for the sake of our children. I want to work but I believe my last job has a lot to do with it. What can I do, its getting to stressful and hard. I started young having kids and been ok until now. Any advice MY ADVICE: Necessity is the mother of all inventions. The two of you need to consider starting some kind of business. If you are your own employer, no one cares about the past. Plenty of people with felonies on their records have started very successful businesses. I am sure that the pressure is thick from having five children and a man living with your father. Thank goodness for him. What you should do is this: pretend that your father cannot help you. What would the two of you do then? Sometimes when we have crutches we tend to become too complacent. Act like your father has given you 60 days to get out and do whatever you would do if that were actually the case. In fact, set a deadline for yourself to make some kind of income and stick to it. The kids have needs, you have needs, and your man has needs. Your father cannot be responsible for taking care of them all, even if he loves you and he obviously does. Good luck.
