Hi again everyone, When I arrived to visit Jerry today, they were just getting ready to move him upstairs, and I was able to be the end of the caravan. One porter was pushing Jerry in a wheelchair, a second porter (Greg – who goes to Hi-Way) was pushing a second wheelchair overloaded with Jerrys stuff, and then me, carrying a lovely potted plant and helium balloon. We formed quite a joyous parade if you ask me. Jerrys now in 3GC, Room 15. Directions: Go in the main entrance and go up the main elevators (on your right) to 3. Turn left when you get off the elevator, round the corner and enter 3GC. It says Cancer and Palliative above the doors but that doesnt apply to Jerry – that was where a bed was available. Make your way around the ward until you find the hall that contains room 15. Visiting hours are 2 to 8 pm, with a maximum of 2 visitors per patient. He still has the feeding tube (I told him NOT to pull it out this time!) but no catheter or mask. Lets pray that he be able to start eating and drinking without aspirating, (and of course go to the bathroom), and cooperate with Gods healing plan. Thanks again for your love and concern. Shalom,
