Hi all, I have 4 items for sale..Please note i am in the UNITED KINGDOM but more than happy to ship worldwide...Buyer to pay shipping.. 1 is ANTIQUE RARE and UNUSUAL AUSTRIAN COLD PAINTED BRONZE FOX PEN WIPE........ This is a RARE bronze figure of a fox who measures approx 4.5 inches wide x 2 inches high. He is EXTREMELY WELL MODELLED WITH ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC DETAIL...and REMNANTS OF THE ORIGINAL PAINTWORK CAN BE SEEN. The hair which would have been thickly formed across his back, has worn away (please see photos for details) The pieces that remain look to my untrained eye as ACTUAL fox fur but I believe it was more common to use hogs or badger fur. This can easily be replaced but I will leave that to his new owner to decide if they want to replace it or not. Although this piece is unmarked, the extremely fine detail and scarcity of this model makes me thinks that it could possibly be from the BERGMAN factory but please make up your own mind as its not something I can guarantee. £325 NOW REDUCED TO £250 _______________________________________________________ number 2 is ANTIQUE CHINESE Bronze wine vessel (jue) From MUCH RESEARCH this item appears to date from the late SHANG early Qing period (NOT to be confused with an influx of chinese replicas). The bronze has a lovely heavy weight and is decorated with Taotie masks and a bovine head handle and a pair of raised lugs which were for lifting the item as it would have been heated above a flame. There appears to be a signature under the handle but I cant fully make it out. It stands on 3 flared legs and has a lovely rich deep red patination. It is in overall good condition but show signs of age related wear as in verdigris etc...Measures approx 7 inches high x 6 inches at its widest point across. £200 now REDUCED TO £150 _________________________________________________________ number 3 is This piece, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE CHEAP KNOCK OFFS ON EBAY, is a genuine piece of INDIAN agricultural farming equipment. This hand carved wooden block basically is the engine of the seed sowing machine. Four poles (hollow tubes) would have been fitted to the underneath which then attach to skis which was then pulled by Indian ladies and a gentleman would walk behind filling the top with a mixture of seeds which then via the internal metal flap, be evenly distributed down through the 4 poles....This is wonderfully hand carved and signed and has a beautiful deep patina. One side does show that in the past it has been damaged but this doesnt detract from the beauty of this item £135 _________________________________________________________ number 4 is Believed to be RARE vintage SALVADOR YSART glass pedestal paperweight. After MUCH research, WE are CONFIDENT that this IS a VERY RARE glass paperweight designed by Salvador Ysart and this is actually a piece of Scottish glass. (but please make up your own mind) This is a highly decorative and intricate object. The clear glass portion when seen side on has a beautiful smoky grey hue which is indicative of an early dated piece of glass. Measures approx 7 inches high and approx 3.5 across the base. It is a very heavy and substantial piece whose value will only increase over the years. The top has a typical ground off pontil mark and a second Pontil mark can be seen on the back as well as a further one on the base. It has a few scratches to the base which would be expected with its age and is in very good condition all over .. PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM WILL ONLY BE SENT VIA RECORDED AND TRACKED AND INSURED POST DUE TO THE NATURE AND VALUE OF THE ITEM...unless u are able to collect from us from CAMBRIDGE UK....£275 Now REDUCED TO £225 Ty for reading and Paypal only pls x
