Hi all, I have a 3y/o AmStaff who occasionally limps around and keeps his weight off his right leg. Weve had his front legs and shoulders x-rayed and checked by our vet and two specialists who all say that he needs surgery for arthritis in his elbow. Is arthritis this severe normal for a 3y/o Staffie? I hesitate to schedule such an invasive surgery for something that only occasionally bothers him. But at the same time, when it does bother him, he really is in pain. Advice? Recommendations? Thanks!
