Hi all I have just sent this email out to the committee. They work extreme hard - especially this year! Please like to also thank them. As you know Helen has decided to step down off committee this year so will not be up for election. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking her for her hard work over the years, from ticket sales, which as we all know is an onerous task, being a stage hand either with or without the cans on, performing on stage especially when she got Bill and Ben out and her sound reasoning at our meetings. I have told Helen if she changes her mind she can come and talk to me and she has promised me she will. On a final note I would like to congratulate you all on your hard work this year - it has paid off. I know we were a little reluctant to do a show with kids but it has put bums on seats and could possibly sell out. Being on committee can often be frustrating and a thankless task but I could jump over the moon and back and do a dance without any clothes on, although I might frighten people away, at how proud I am of our commitment to bring us back from the brink.
