Hi all! I moved to Cape Town (Strand specifically) in mid-September. Since then, been exploring many of the Helderberg (and beyond) birding spots on my own (and twice with S. West Bird Club) - still exploring, but always enjoy a new patch! I work every second weekend, but get every second Tuesday/Thursday off (alternates). So far been to Danie Miller Trail, Helderberg NR, Intaka, Rooi-Els, Stony Point, Jonkershoek, Lourensford Farm, Dick Dent Sanctuary, Paardevlei, Rietvlei, Sir Lowrys Pass, Vergelegen Farm, Harold Porter, Kirstenbosch and Rondevlei. My WC list since moving here is only 123 species. Still have lots to explore!
