Hi all. Its with a sad heart that Im placing this. Yesterday I got told that my boy has a chip which needs to be removed if I want him to continue in his jumping career, or if left as is, he will only be a riding horse. Chip is on pedal bone and has been there for years. since his racing career. He was at a yard on trial to be sold for the last 5 months, but with the chip, I need to take him back. His selling price is R50 000 and the opp will cost R12 000. Im willing to neg on price etc, if theres someone who has the heart to do the opp for him to continue his jumping career or would like a fun, spunky horse as a riding horse. Im unfortunately sitting in a predicament where I just cant afford stabling for him nor pay for the opp. I need to find a loving, forever home for him a.s.a.p. This coming Saturday, 1Nov14. He really loves jumping and it will be sad not to see him continue. He is a TB, 16.3h, just turned 8. I had him since 2010, and he never broke down, fell ill or showed any signs of unsoundness. He does loves his bucking! If anyone can help. Pls, Im desperate to make the right decision here. Any advice will also be greatly appreciated.
