Hi all. Mabel here. Its time for our daily education/background info on me and my family. Today, I am talking about my cat sister, the Evil Cat Millie. No. That is not just a name; it is a description of her behavior. I do like her, I really do, but she has it in for one of my other cat sisters, Sam Good Kitty. Thats why shes evil. Maggie says that Millie (and her kitten, Agnes) were strays. Mama #2 fell in love with them both (of course), but Mama #1 said they couldnt stay. Mama #2 asked a no-kill shelter to take them, but they insisted she foster them until they were adopted. So, every weekend for an entire summer, Millie (then known as Mama Cat) and Agnes went to PetsMart to meet new Mamas. Well, Mama Cat decided she wouldnt like anyone she met, cuz shed already had a good home. At every adoption event, She turned into the meanest, nastiest, most undesirable cat you ever met. And Agnes followed her example. Well, the very last time she went to PetsMart, someone tried to pick her up. Mama Cat SCREAMED! I mean, she yelled bloody murder! The entire store stopped and ran to see what was wrong. Mama #2 rushed to her side, thinking she must be very hurt. As soon as Mama Cat saw Mama #2 , She began purring an earth shaking purr. When Mama #2 picked her up, she snuggled. At about the same time, Agnes almost bit someone! The Humane Society asked Mama #2 to take them both home and not bring them back (at least, thats what Mama #2 told Mama #1). Thats how Millie and Agnes came to live here.
