Hi all. My English Communications year ends like this... 90 minute In Class Narrative So I need some help. Following the recommendations from the Chief Assessors Report, I will explicitly teach narrative structures and techniques, without giving the topic to the students. I want them to write a fantastic story, that demonstrate creativity, yet control of conventional narrative writing. But it is such a massive field and in my experience, the stories can be less than excellent. I want them to experiment with elements such as narrative voice and narrative structures; such as using dual narratives that seem unrelated and then knit together nicely at the conclusion.
