Hi all! One week tomorrow The Nelson Band Night Kicks off with a bang. It would be wrong to say the Band Night team arent a bit jittery with the thought of hosting this event as were providing some first class acts on a weekly basis and are trying to show them off to the best of our ability. We are hoping that all boxes have been ticked for next week, but there are bound to be teething problems so please bear with us. The aim of the game is to bring some high quality bands and acoustic artists to a pub near you, aka The Nelson Tavern! So if you can make it, turn up, have a beer and enjoy the talents and hard work of local and not so local musicians. On our opening night (Friday 15th November) we have three acts for you. Martin Maguire - Acoustic guitarist singing various covers. Stephen Chadwick - Outstanding singer/songwriter playing acustic material both covers and original. The Red Light Effect - Brilliant five piece band from Middleton playing original materal. Thanks for all your Likes and for your support. Hopefully see you all soon
