Hi all,Over the last few months I have walked along Margate sea front, watching the boardwalk and paving being replaced all along the front. This must of cost the municipality millions. We as the community always moan that nothing is being done, money wasted Margate run down etc etc. Over the last couple of days I have seen all this hard work and money being vandalized by thoughtless people driving over the boardwalk and breaking it. This before the season even stats, what will this great investment in Margate look like by 15th January. I spoke to Police Officers this morning asking if they have been told to take action against anyone abusing the boardwalk. No they are not. I think we need signs put up warning that anyone parking on the boardwalk/pavement will be fined and cost of replacement will added. We need Traffic Wardens patrolling issuing summons.
