Hi all, This is a nice note I got from Jackie Baker ( a friendly female in the bike industry) She is looking for fundraising help as so many people are but in case this event is close to your heart I am passing it along in hopes it may help her in some small way---ride on safely Jackie and all Tour de Pink riders!! .......her note--- I recently started my new job as the brand director for the Rides to Conquer Cancer. But last spring, I committed to doing the Young Survival Coalition Tour de Pink Ride in CA that starts TOMORROW! I didnt know if Id be able to do the ride with the new job. But, after working with our beneficiaries the past 2 months and meeting more people whove been affected, it seems silly for me to bow out of my YSC commitment. And, I think its important to contribute to the cause and to the Tour de Pink team Im on, which is a tribute to a former Giant employee who lost her battle with breast cancer. If you can donate even $5, every little bit helps to get more young women the support and treatment they need when they are diagnosed with breast cancer.
