Hi all. We hope you and your darling puppies are all - TopicsExpress

Hi all. We hope you and your darling puppies are all well. Things in our household have become a little easier now. My partners health has improved so we have been able to return to a normal routine again. Thank you so much to all the messages of support that I received from you lively people. The puppies have grown so much. They are growing too fast for my liking. Tubs is just a little cuddle monster. He loves getting attention. He is such a softy and would just sit on my lap all day long if he could. Tubs really doesnt like it when I attempt to give the others attention. He will do whatever he can to make sure hes the one that is being petted and cuddled. He will paw my hand, lick my face, moan, howl, bury his head under my chin and he even pushes the others out my way and then sits there with his big puppy eyes staring at me, waiting for more cuddles. He is just beautiful. Tinks is so prim and proper. She still has that ladylike demeanour that she had when she was younger. She prances around with her head high and a bounce in her step. She really does know how to get her own way too. She likes to lay in my arms, like a baby would, and have her tummy tickled. She has grown so much and I am no longer worried about her tiny size. She is still small compared to Tubby though, but she is healthy and very happy. Bonnie is so laid back. She is very placid and is quite happy watching the world go by. She is happy to sit on the windowsill and nosey at the neighbours. She is such an amazing mummy. She still cleans the pups and takes great care of them. From all the research that I did, I would have expected her to stop cleaning them a long time ago, but she seems to want to keep those special moments with her babies. Elsie is my crazy fluffball. She is so energetic and keeps the others on their toes. She loves the pups so much and has a special bond with Tinks. They are so close and often sleep curled up together. Its amazing to see the dynamics in the pack. When one fluff barks, they all run to make sure that their pack member is ok. Is so lovely to witness. Bonnie is the boss and the leader of the pack. Elsie is the clown and the protector. Tinks is Elsies partner in crime and isnt scared of anything. Tubs is a little less confident, he follows on but stays well back from the drama. Has anyone else who has the privilege of having a bichon, noticed that boys are softer and more affectionate than girls? I just wonder whether this is a common thing with this breed or if its just that my tubs is just super soft. I am so excited for the weekend. We have Alfie (Mr blue), coming to stay with us overnight. I cant wait to smother him with cuddles and I will be making the most out of the time I have with him. His new momma asked if I would take care of him as she has a family wedding to attend. She has never left him alone before and she told me that she wouldnt want to leave him with anyone else, which was so lovely to hear. I am looking forward to seeing how the pups will react and watching them play together. My fluffs continue to brighten my days. They give me so much more than I could ever give them. They make our life complete.
