Hi all. With the weather somewhat less active for a few days I thought i should share this again... 10 days to get another 4.5 or BSCH gets nothing and this wonderful free service is jepoardy. .... We here are ISC are not ones to ask for any sort of funding or peddle others that do but this is a little different. The privately run Australian Weather Cam Network from Brisbane Storm Chasers has been a valuable and free asset to hundreds of thousands of people and not just weather enthusiasts BUT they need your help. Ben Quinn started and runs the network outside of his day to day Job and funds a lot of it out of his own back pocket too but the technology is becoming old and unreliable. He and BSCH need a small bit of funding to upgrade the network and continue to provide a wonderful free service. Ive pledged and I would like you all to do the same. Whilst our pages main focus is the Illawarra and there arent any cameras from this region currently in the network by pledging you can suggest and vote on where future cameras may be setup... AND Who knows, this may lead to a weather cam from around these parts being added to the network! https://kickstarter/projects/1650021102/australian-weathercam-network So please, pledge some $$. If youve not used kickstarter before do note that anything you pledge will not be debited from your account unless they reach the goal amount. I will keep sharing this throughout the next week or so...
