Hi all, my name is Roser and I am a 32-year-old journalist and writer from Barcelona, Spain. I will be participating at the Festival, attending to workshops during July. My plan is to come to Iowa City not only to participate at the Festival but also to finish my novel. Thats why Im planning to stay for a full month at least (July), perhaps a bit more. Id be interested in renting a room, and I was wondering if you have some tips about websites that I could check from the distance. Is craiglist the best option? Im looking for a nice room in a shared apartment or a 1-bedroom apt where I can write and get inspired, but also a place not too far from downtown so I can get lost in bookstores, events and readings. Id appreciate if you could give me your advice on short-term housing. Thanks for reading this (too) long message!
