Hi all my special FB friends and family. I spent all day in IF with my sweet Byron. Kris drove me down and spent the day with me along with Melanie, Samara and my son Christopher. Had lots of visitors and many well wishes. So very appreciated and helps lift our spirits. He is still stable, no more bleeding. They may bring him around just a little tomorrow from his deep sedation to see how he does. Still on ventilator and will be for at least 10 days or more because of the swelling around his airway. This will help him heal quicker because hes not fighting to breathe. Giving him lots of pain meds. Dr West who will fix his fractured pelvis explained the surgery to us. Small plate and a few screws. As I said last night he has 8 broken ribs, broken left arm, and small fracture on right leg. We are so hopeful, but theres always a downside too. They say lungs could fill with liquids from his body.There is also lots of soft tissue damage that breaks down and your kidneys try to flush it and they sometimes shut down. But we believe in Gods tender mercies, prayer, and Byrons will to live for us. Prayers are being felt and we so love and appreciate your concern for us. Miracles are real, and we will pray for one for my darling Byron.
