Hi all, we had a major exercise last Sunday onboard MS Polarlys after we left Kirkenes heading South again. I was asked to photograph the operation which I was happy to do as a favour to the ship and the Norwegian Coastguard Service. It all went well but the back story was the airload master who came down onto the ship to take off a casualty was the son of the man being taken off!! It had been planned for 2 years and I was just lucky to be onboard when it happened. Everyone was happy with the pictures and it was a great experience for me too.
