Hi, everybody! New to this... traded Up in a trading project I started several years ago... and recently traded for a 1974 Nomad, 18 foot camper. I have almost NO money (starving artist)... and this is parked at my parents house, where my fiance and I... have been staying since we lost our home to foreclosure. The camper is my 18th trade, and is the first thing thats offered creative freedom to me since 2011! Im painting again, for the first time in years, and am very grateful. But, I have to be honest.... the poor thing could seriously use a makeover! Ive done a tad of decorating with Halloween items, since Im a middle-aged, Halloween junkie! But.... Im also a middle aged Pirates junkie, and am wanting to plan out an affordable makeover for my Nomad. The siding on the walls is a combo of fake paneling and some sort of wallpaper. The floor is yellow plaid. The cabinets are brown, with part of them painted some weird pale green as the previous owner was starting to fix it up. Its missing 2 drawers by the front door....that I dont really care about, but its a pretty ugly spot right there at the door. Id kinda thought of painting what little exposed wall there is yellow or something. It needs some kind of rug...seriously!!!! Heres a few pics. Thinking that I want to go Piraty, and I have VERY little money.... any suggestions?? (Note-- The last photo shown shows what the inside looked like when it first got here, before I put Halloween stuff and my art stuff in there.)
