Hi everyone - Were moving into race operations mode today, as registration opens up. This of course means the return of Race Facebook team. Returning again this year is of course Winn Soldani, former co-chair of the Mac and longtime Mac Racer. Winn has led our presence on Facebook for the last three races and joins us again. Once the racers get going on Saturday, Winn will be providing commentary, answering questions, and helping to lead our community here on Facebook during the Race. Joining Winn this year will be Dan Gabriel. Dan is also an experience inshore and offshore sailor. Growing up in the Detroit area, the Bayview (Pt. Huron) Mac is a family tradition. Fresh back from the Island, Dan will also be here to answer questions and let you know a little about the experience of offshore racing, the strategies of the racers, and the weather that the sailors face. Please welcome Dan & Winn (both of whom will be posting under the Races name from now through the finishes next week).
