Hi everyone, Coralie Wales here.. Have just returned from Quest for Life where i have been working with people living with chronic pain in a 5 day retreat at beautiful Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Gosh it was powerful, intense, really nurturing and wow what outcomes for people who have battled with pain and other big challenges. Although i was invited to share information and current thinking about chronic pain, I came out of the retreat really alive and grateful for the experience personally. Eleven participants, two carers, and six facilitators. Thank you Petrea King for inviting me to be a part of this retreat - I believe that this kind of loving, nurturing and pain-explaining retreat is the way of the future! Thanks also to the participants in this retreat who i hope to stay in touch with as they gave as much as they got in this retreat.
