Hi everyone. Harley is doing much better today. She has been happy most of the day. Still in a lot if pain when she is moved but that should get better when the tube is removed and her shunt is back inside where it belongs. Her neurosurgeon said today that the only other option for her shunt is to the heart now. So when she has her next surgery it will be a VA shunt. Tomorrow he is supposed to talk to me more in depth about it. I really hate this is her only option since she is so young and small but am hoping for the best. I trust the team of Drs here and know they will do all they can for her. I will update again tomorrow when I know more and hopefully then she is still doing well. Thank you all for your prayers.
