Hi everyone! I hope those of you on spring break are having a great time and enjoying this great spring weather! Only a few more days left to get those auction donations in! We still need more items so please keep them coming! We are selling raffle tickets for the 2 roundtrip tickets on JetBlue! Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. I will have the tickets for sale at the Awards Ceremony. If you know of others in your family, neighborhood, work or school that may want to buy tickets let me know and I will get them to you! Since there is no newsletter this week I wanted to share a few more of the great items we have received. Some of these would make great Mother’s or Father’s day or birthday gifts or just keep them to enjoy youself! Legends Autographs has donated a really beautiful framed autographed photo of Ryan Lochte and a NC State basketball autographed by Dereck Whittenburg, the captain of the 1983 NCAA Championship Team! Whittenburg is most famous for launching the airball that the late Lorenzo Charles dunked just before the buzzer to give the Wolfpack a victory over heavily favored Houston in the 1983 national championship game. Shannon Aycock has donated 4 – one hour sessions of math or science tutoring. Shannon has been teaching for 13 years and is a NC licensed teacher in Mathematics (grades 9-12) and Science (grades 9-12). She can tutor students in any mathematics course Algebra I and above, Chemistry, and Physics or Physical Science. Ms. Aycock can also tutor for SAT math prep. Elements Massage in Cary has donated 2 certificates each good for one 55 minute therapeutic massage. Tracy Zettel has donated 4 Durham Bulls tickets and a parking pass for the May 1 game. These seats are front row on the first base line right next to the visiting team dugout (section 105 row A). Thank you for all of your support and GO MOR!
