Hi everyone! I just wanted to bring everyone up to date on my wifes sisters cancer. Donna, my wife, has been visiting her since last Thursday and will be coming back home THIS Thursday. To make a VERY long story short, Donnas sister, Debbie, has only a few weeks to live; per her oncologist, at most 2 months. Chemo did not work and she is now too weak to survive another round. Barring a bona fide MIRACLE we will more than likely lose her before Christmas. Hospice came to their home yesterday to help plan and put their services into action. This is a VERY sad time for us all. Debbie is Donnas only sister. Debbie is only 57; 10 years MY junior and 8 years Donnas junior. She started with colon cancer earlier this year and had surgery for that, but it has spread to her liver and lungs; primarily her liver. She is showing signs of jaundice now, so it is just a matter of time. We STILL have belief and hope that our mighty God and Heavenly Father can perform miracles and that if it is HIS will HE can HEAL her...COMPLETELY and make her whole again. And, of course, we are clinging to that belief and hope and we are ALL praying that He WILL heal her. We believe in the power of prayer so we are asking ALL of our family and friends to PLEASE pray that our Heavenly Father will heal her and allows us to continue to have Debbie in our lives.
