Hi everyone...I posted a couple of weeks ago for a friend needing to re-home her Newfie mix whose name is Chester. You all were kind enough to ask questions and start the process. Then we thought we had found a new home for him so I let you all know and stopped things. I just found out today that person no longer wants him. So Im back asking for help. This is somewhat of an emergency. The family is in the process of moving from Cincinnati Ohio to Mansfield Ohio. Unfortunately they are renting a house and they do not allow pets. If we do not find something soon Im afraid hell be put down. The actual move dates are tomorrow and Monday. I know things take time. Somehow we will make due for the time being. But we need help ASAP. Chester is a great dog. He is about 7 years old. He is great with kids, dogs and cats. He is very laid back. He is neutered and due for his annual shots. He is approximately 65-70 lbs. I am thinking he will need to be picked up in Mansfield instead of Cincinnati though. If they cant keep him there I will either take him (I live in Springfield Ohio) until a furever family can be found or make other arrangements. He cant be kenneled or caged due to severe anxiety when thats been done in the past. A picture of Chester is attached. We would appreciate any help that can be given.
