Hi, everyone! I wanted to drop in and invite all of you to our Purpleheart Armoury Open 2015. Daniel Torpey can tell you how it went last year. Were REALLY emphasizing the one-on-one coaching/sparring/discussion that you can get with all the attending instructors and fencers both international and from North America. Also, Andy Borman, we will be holding a rapier tournament this year. Rob Runacres will be attending from the UK, and teaching classes on rapier and cloak, and rapier and dagger. Other topics include: - the Sprechfenster (also strongly incorporating Fuhlen or sentimento di ferro) - grappling and wrestling: Ringen am Schwert, Glima, and catch wrestling - tactics of the schiltschlach and stichschlach in I.33 sword and buckler - Dutch saber - lots of class/training focus on tactics, strategies, and responsiveness/Fuhlen/sentimento di ferro in applying HEMA fighting skills in dynamic and antagonistic environments. https://facebook/events/256475751230357
