Hi everyone, I would like to take a minute to ask your help for some friends of mine. They have started a group called Slippers with Wings. It is a group formed to help raise money for a trip to John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for Jacinda Hodder from Port Aux Bras. Jacinda and her sister Janika are in their twenties and unfortunately have a very rare condition that has yet to be diagnosed or treated properly. They have been dealing with this since they have been toddlers. It started out minor but now has progressed to the point that both girls are in motorized wheelchairs and have trouble speaking at times and cannot look after them selves. They have gone to Toronto sick kids, Montreal Sick Kids etc etc. But nothing has ever been helpful. They have been in contact with a Doctor at JHH in Baltimore and he thinks he may be able to help. As you know everything comes at a cost and this one comes with a big price tag. I am asking my friends if you can find it in your heart to help. Every dollar will help. If you cant do it that way, let me know I can get it and bring it down to them. They are two beautiful young girls inside and out who just want a chance to live a so called normal life.
