Hi everyone!! Id like to introduce you Demo Children Home. DEMO Children Home is located in Pokhara, Nepal, and houses children in need of a physically and financially supportive family. DEMO is funded by the Spanish NGO, Cooperavida, and is run locally by Narbu and Ramana Thapana. The home provides a stable living environment to needy children and orphans, who were previously denied access to a proper education, clean drinking water, and many other resources vital to childhood development. DEMO currently houses eight children in comfortable and hygienic conditions, all of whom receive a nutritious diet, have access to health facilities, and attend the renowned, private, Marigold Boarding High School. Mark and his wife manage Cooperavida from Barcelona, finding funds and supporters to keep this project running. In February, we will set out for a new quest. Visit low cast & poor families from Nepal rural villages to offer their children a future denied by government and society. We are planning to support 4-6 more children. The next 6 months will be crucial for the project. I will be back to French Pyrenees in May 2015, from there, we will have to work very hard to find more funds. Needs at the children home are second floor, study room, laptops, underground water ground among others. DCHs first website is being finalised, so we will launch it shortly, hopefully in 2 weeks time.
