Hi everyone! If youre like me you are drawn to animals that have unique and feisty personalities. My newest office companion is by far the most comical I have seen. Percy is a strikingly beautiful 1-2 yr old spayed young lady with a quirky personality that is sure to grab your attention. Though she came in as a stray it is clear that she was a loved family pet at one time. Her love of being pampered and kitten-like playfulness give the impression that she prefers to take on the role of the spoiled princess in the household. She is meticulous about keeping up her angelic appearance and will make sure everyone in the room knows she deserves their attention. Now in her teenage years she, like many ladies her age, loves to receive the latest toys and believes Cyndi Laupers song girls just want to have fun was written about her. Percy takes on a carefree lifestyle and simply wants to hold on to her mischievous fun-loving days from her kitten years. Being laid-back and respectful is reserved for older cats in her mind. Percy wants to play all day and keep the world wrapped around her little paw. While playful kitties are entertaining Percy never learned the difference between playing politely and auditioning for wrestle mania. She has her sweet tender side but when the urge to play flares up she will tackle any toy in her vicinity. If she hasnt been graced with a new present and her same old toys seem to bore her she will simply sprint in circles around the office in a way thatll rival any dogs zoomies. She loves to add you in on the fun by grabbing at your legs as she zooms by but tends to get carried away and integrates her teeth into her ninja like skills. Her favorite sneaky methods to make sure your eyes stay on her is by knocking over your drink when you arent looking (mainly prefers water bottles), stealing your pens, or by simply nipping at your calves, toes, and hands. All followed by frolicking away chirping to proclaim her innocence in the manner. :) While its not in an aggressive fashion she has accidently broke skin twice so she has now finished up her second quarantine. :( One was a minor puncture during a surprise kitty boxing match and the other was a small tooth scrape during her regular pouncing routine trying to grab your attention. If you seem to be too busy to relax she is more than happy to lounge in her favorite pink bed and daydream the afternoon away. She also enjoys gentle brushing to perfect her looks especially when you integrate some soothing neck scratches. Percy is a charming little lady with a distinctive personality that will leave you envious of her bold and unconstrained attitude towards life while laughing at her dramatic and comical behaviors. She needs a home that is able to keep up with her need to play but is patient and understanding when she gets too rough. The way to Percys heart is not just through love and affection but by fulfilling her sense of adventure that will surely relieve you of those dull moments at home for years to come.
