Hi everyone. Im just looking to get some ideas/opinions on starting out acting. The only experience i have had was 2 years of elective Drama in high school and a couple of classes as a teen. Its always been a dream to be an actor which i have never pursued due to low self esteem etc. if i was to start out how would you suggest i go about it? Are these weekend classes a way to go? I have seen plenty around. Are they worth forking out hundreds of $ for? At this stage i dont think i am ready to commit to a degree of any sort, as i sort of think Im dreaming as it is, trying to pursue this. I would just like to see if Ive got it you know? Any opinions on where to start out and reviews on the various courses offered in Perth? I am mainly interested in film/tv. I would also be willing to put myself up for any unpaid acting/extra work. Thanks!
