Hi everyone. Ive been following the group for a while, but this is my first post. Ive been a professional game developer for 14 year now. Ive worked at Electronic Arts and Zynga (yeah dont ask but was great living in S.F.). Im now just going at building my own games studio to build a story driven games engine. One More Story Games Ive had great success at building our game and getting the basic system up and running. But Ive had NO LUCK at trying to recruit someone to come aboard as an Art Director for the project. I have offered a decent salary for a start up, and given as many promises as I can with regards to founding status (for shares for work done on the project). But as I keep inviting people into the project, I find too many people who will say they will do the work, and then turn around and do nothing or they flake out. Were about 60% of the way through our prototype development and I still cant get a reliable artist on board. I would love ANY advice that people could offer on how to find reliable co-founders (especially in the Toronto Canada area). ;)
