For those that are after a fish or two in the next few days there are still a few about. Pittwater still has kings to catch and most are hanging around the tailor schools along the western side of Pittwater. They are still pouncing on live squid and once fired up, frozen squid is working as well. As mentioned sizeable tailor are also pouncing on soft plastics or metals in the 20 - 25g range. Flathead are biting along Broken Bay and the better baits have been fresh Hawkesbury River prawns or your humble pillie. The Patonga drift is doing well but the commercial sector is hammering it and you may be better trying the Juno Point to Elanora Bluffs area. Flatties are also being caught near the sand bar off Umina. Lastly we have 3 days to go with our Charter Give Away Competition.
