Hi everyone... Once again, thank you for all your incredible support for the last 3 days...it means more to me, and to my family, than I can ever say. I just want to clear up any lingering rumors regarding my departure from WTAM, because Im still reading and hearing a lot of misinformation. Please understand that the decision to terminate my employment was NOT made by anyone in the Cleveland building. It was a corporate decision, and it coincides with many other long-time employees being cut from the company across the country. Clear Channel has been tightening their budget belt for the last 5 years, and Ive seen many, many talented people leave our building in that time--some on the air and many off it. My termination was NOT performance-related, ratings-related, politically-driven, nor the result of some on-air feud with any other hosts. And no, it was not related to LeBron James coming back to Cleveland. It was 100% budget-related, as have been so many across the company, nationally. So I hope that answers some of the questions that have been flying around the internet the last 48 hours, and corrects some of the misinformation that continues to spread.
