Hi everyone! Remember me? Im your Past Lt. Governor, the guy who some would say was replaced by Steven Tan. I just wanted to stop by and leave a short message for you all. As some of you may or may not know, I was awarded the Robert F. Lucas Outstanding Lt. Governor Award at International Convention. And all of my gratitude goes to you all. I wouldnt have gotten that award if it wasnt for all of your leadership. Thank you all for helping me become a better person. Also - shout out to Independence High School for receiving first place at International Convention for their scrapbook! This was deemed the best scrapbook in the WORLD!!! Now for the super deep and poetic part (jk not a poet) Some of you started school today, some of you start soon, and some of you will be starting fresh in college very soon (like myself!). I just wanted to say that whatever path you are taking this year, remember to always put your best foot forward. Try new things, make mistakes, learn from those mistakes, meet new people. Wake up every morning, and ask yourself What is my goal for today? Go to bed every night, and ask yourself Did I accomplish my goal? What did I do to accomplish that? What could I have done to accomplish it? Always do whatever you can do to grow as a human being and as a leader. But most importantly, do what makes you happy. Do what you love. Do what youre passionate about. If you dont know what that is, thats perfectly fine. Find it. Youll never know what you like until you try it. (Ultimate frisbee is a great example of something that no one likes until they try it. Its fantastic and I recommend you all try it.) BUT YES DO WHAT YOU LOVE. Always pursue what you love the most. Never let anyone stop you from doing what you love. Unless of course, its illegal. Then dont do that because laws exist for a reason. Always follow your heart. Always. Im always here if you need someone to talk to. I may no longer exist in the Key Club International world, but Ill always be here for you all.
