Hi everyone! Since our unfortunate parting with Dylan we are now on the search for a new Lead Guitarist. (Like and share this post for us if you get a chance so others can see it) With a base plan to have music available to the public mid 2015 we would like someone to start rehearsing and doing small time gigs with us after the 31st of October. We have a contract with a local record label, a manager, a producer/editor, recording studio access, free rehearsal room usage and links to bigger people within the music industry. We rehearse 3 times a week (Monday night, Wednesday night and Friday night) in Mt Evelyn so you must be committed and willing to put in the effort to be there at those times. You must have your own equipment and be willing to cart it around, we will not tolerate laziness when setting up or packing up, we all help each other. You must be creative and practice in your own time, this is very important as you will (at times) need to innovate your own solos/ parts and you will definitely need to know them. Basic knowledge of playing lead guitar would help but it is not required, we are always learning new things and are willing to teach what we know if you are willing to learn. If you can sing that would also help as we do a lot of backing vocal sections. We would prefer someone local (Mt Evelyn area) around about 16 - 26 years of age as we are all early 20s but location is not required. You must be friendly and fun, were not just looking for someone that wants to play music and be famous, we are looking for someone that wants to go out with us and be a part of our family, but also stick through the bad times with us, a life long friend. Our originals vary in genre as Connor writes music for pretty much all styles, this means you must be able to adapt to the specific song requirements. Some of our major influences include Kisschasy, John Mayer, Bliss n Esso, Kings of Leon, Blink-182, Angus & Julia Stone, Ball Park Music, Fall out Boy, Jet, The Kooks, 30 Seconds to Mars, Violent Soho, Snow Patrol, Hilltop Hoods, Paramore, Ed Sheeran, The Getaway Plan, Oasis, The Paper Kites. We will not make any decisions until we have met the person, had a few rehearsals and us as a band and our manager agree.
