Hi everyone, Thank you for the add! I am brand new to Mini pigs.. Here is my Beautiful Spamala Hamerson. She will be 1 month old tomorrow. She was given to me by a breeder when her mother killed her two siblings and she was fearful mama would do the same to her. She was 5 days old when she arrived at about 1 1/2 lbs. Shes now a happy fun loving tiny pig of about 3 1/2lbs. Loves her companions (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.) I do have a couple of questions... I did all the reading I could trying to learn about these little guys...but some things are best to ask the experts 1st. What is the best way to try to introduce them to their pellets? I have started mixing it into her food but she actually eats all the food around the pellets. (she eats baby rice cereal mixed with goats milk) 2nd. How do you discipline them? I mean I dont hit, not even my dogs or anything. But she has temper tantrums when its time to come in from playtime outside and recently she started ignoring me when I call her. Im guess the ignoring is due to her becoming more independent. 3rd. She nuzzles into my arm, but gets so excited by it she actually bruised my arm by nudging into it so rough... how can I explain to her that she can sit on my lap and cuddle with me without being so rough? Ok I think thats enough questions for now! LOL Im sure Ill have plenty more! Thank you in advance for the help!
