Hi everyone, There has been a change to the way we must - TopicsExpress

Hi everyone, There has been a change to the way we must administer the payroll for all our extras, previously we would have taken National Insurance contributions from your pay (when applicable). This is no longer the case. From 6th April 2014 all your work as an extra will now be classed as self employed. You must declare your earnings to HMRC directly, this means you need to register as self employed and submit returns to HMRC directly. You can do this by going to hmrc.gov.uk/sa/self-emp.htm#2. Extras NI Ltd are no longer responsible for informing HMRC of your earnings and you are legally obliged to inform HMRC, this responsibility now lies solely with you. Thanks, The Extras NI Team.
